IT’S SO FLUFFY!!!! Well, they are. These little fluff balls are our little “fighters”: Ali (female), Creed (Male), and Tyson (Male). When they were born their mother attacked them due to stress. As such they were seperated from her and have been bottle fed from one-day old. They are now 6-weeks old and are available for pre-adoption. They will be able to go home 4/24, once they are 8 weeks old. They are currently 5 lbs. Based mom and dad we expect them to be around 90lbs full grown. They are half german shepard and half herding breed (our guess being australian shepard). They will be shedders and will need regular grooming Apply to Adopt

Meet Liberty! Aka: Libby Liberty came to the rescue after her mother unfortunately passed. She is a 6 year old, pure bred German Shepherd. Although Liberty is 6, she still has a good amount of energy and LOVES playing in water. She is crate trained and house trained, waiting at the door to be let out. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. Libby has gone to overnight doggy daycare 1x/week for the last 5 years and has never had an issue with any of the other dogs there. Since being at her foster parents’ house, she has not had a single accident. Liberty is looking for a new home to call her own and spend the rest of her life. Meet "Kolt of personality"! Kolt is a one year old 50 pound Terrier Bully mix. Kolt is full of energy and will need an active family, preferably with another dog to play with. Get ready to fall in love!! This is Kleo. Kleo is an approximately 1.5 year old, 40ish lb, spayed pit mix from Louisiana! Kleo is super sweet and has loved everyone she’s met so far. She is very dog friendly, but likes to play hard and sometimes doesn’t respect personal space, so little dogs may not be the best fit with her. She does do fine with the cat in her foster home though, she seems to understand that she does not want to play. She prefers to be with her person/people and can get anxious when left alone. She is a quiet girl who doesn’t bark much, so she’d be a great work from home buddy. She is working hard on being totally housebroken. Here comes momma Kupid, this 2-3 year old, beautiful little (30lbs) mixed breed girl came to us from Louisiana with her 8 souvenirs. Now that her momma duties are finished, she is ready for her forever home. Kupid is house broke, crate trained and the easiest dog. She is lower energy but gets silly burst of energy, her zoomies will be sure to make you smile. Kupid was a street dog prior to coming so new things may be scary for her, but she adjusts quickly. She enjoys going for walks, car rides and snuggles. Kupid is fostered with dogs of all sizes and gets along well with all of them. While she is not currently fostered with cats, I don’t think she would have an issue with one. Kupid is Heartworm positive and currently being treated by the rescue. Twila is an approximately two year old, 40-lb pit mix from Louisiana. She came to Maryland in January with nine puppies. Twila has been a wonderful mother, and all of her babies have found new homes. It's time for Twila to find her forever home. She is playful, sweet, and affectionate. Twila walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has almost mastered potty training. She loves people and other dogs. Chickens are a definite no. Cat introductions should be done while she's muzzled. Twila is heartworm positive and will soon undergo treatment at the rescue's expense. Any Great Dane lovers out there!? Meet Charlie! Charlie is a 2-3 yr old female Great Dane weighing in at 101lbs. She is a complete love bug who loves being with her person. Charlie likes playing outside and exploring the yard. She does have a history of exploring too much. That being said, she would probably do better in a fenced in yard or kept on leash when outside, unless her new owner works on some off leash training. Charlie is great with other dogs and likes having a buddy to play and romp around with. She would also do great as an only dog. She grew up with kids in the house and is great with them. She does know how to use her weight so a strong or experienced handler is a must. She would do better in a home without small animals. Everyone meet this hunky boy, Keller! Keller is about 65lbs, with roughly 40 of those pounds coming from his meaty block head. Keller was transported from Louisiana, where he was found as a stray with face wounds, treated, then was fostered in a home with children and another small pup. At his current foster home, he lives with 3 other pups, having met one so far! Ranging between 1.5-2 years old, this fast and furious character will never leave you bored — he is in puppy play mode daily!! From zoomies, to repeatedly flipping his toys and bones in the air, to playing tug, he keeps you on your toes and entertained! Keller has an affinity for jumping up and sitting his beefy bum cake on counters and tables to get a better view of the world he rules… And quite honestly has zero regrets about it. He is extremely affectionate, food motivated, and intelligent. This cow-like velvety hippo sometimes displays his affection through play nibbles, in which his foster has been working with him to politely let him know “ain’t nobody got time for that, Keller.” On a leash, Keller shows off his big boy strength!! Meet “smiley” Kylee!!! This sweet girl is a high spirited love bug. She is a 1yr old, 40lb-ish (still needs to gain a bit more weight) Hound/Lab/Pointer mix. She is up to date on vaccines, completely house-trained, and microchipped. Kylee still needs to be spayed which is financially taken care of by the Rescue. Kylee is dog friendly and loves to run around the backyard with her current foster brothers. She would do well in a forever home with another dog or can also be an “only dog” because of how much she loves “her people”. She is a bit of a jumper (we are working on better manners) so a family with older children would be better. She is very eager to please and being food motivated is a plus with training. Unconditional love and devotion is the best way to describe this girl. She was found in Louisiana completely emaciated but still smiled and wagged her tail gratefully while eating her much needed meal. The crate is not her favorite place to be but she does eventually settle especially with a (safe) yummy treat. She is great in the car and is getting better with leash walking but will need more practice as she is just so happy and excited for walks. Kylee LOVES toys, the squeakier the better!! Seeing her with toys and playing is so heartwarming when knowing her very tough beginning. Kylee loves to be with her person/people and will lay across you or next to you in the funniest pretzel like positions— she is the silliest girl! Blue is an adorable 3-year-old petite pit mix. She weighs about 37 lbs. She is a huge cuddle bug and loves nothing more than to be around her people. She loves snuggling, walks, and car rides. Blue spends most of her day napping and looking for cuddles, but her energy comes out for walks and visitors. Blue calms down after a few minutes. She can be a resource guarder so it’s best she goes to a home without small children and other pets. She is potty and crate trained and knows all the basic commands.
